MUSTANG MARINE TO OPEN CORPORATE DEALERSHIP IN NSW

As part of the company’s re-birth, Mustang Marine has taken steps to consolidate its local dealership network by announcing two flagship dealerships on Australia’s east coast.  The first is the company’s Queensland dealership which has been purchased  from the dealer principle and is currently undergoing refurbishment at Runaway Bay Marina, and the second and latest acquisition is the Drummoyne-based NSW dealership.

Mustang Marine and Harbour City Mustang/Mustang Marine NSW have agreed on terms for the acquisition which will ensure a seamless transition to the new factory owned operation.  Current dealer principal, Rod Cunningham, will continue to be closely associated with Mustang through his existing shared ownership company, The Cruising Club, which operates a fleet of Mustangs from a number of locations along Australia’s east coast.

“Rod and his team have worked tirelessly representing the Mustang brand in the NSW region over the past two years and we appreciate the effort made by them to develop a strong platform” commented Kym Fleet, National Dealer Sales Manager.

“Our vertical integration into retail operations will take us one step closer to our customers and bring our customers one step closer to us.  This will ensure smooth and direct lines of communication between the market and the factory enabling Mustang to react quickly to customer feedback and market demands” he said.

The new Mustang Marine NSW location will be confirmed in coming weeks, however the Harbour City Mustang team at Drummoyne will continue to service Mustang customers and enquiries during the transition period.
