Maxum 2100 SC3 Shatters Class Standard for Cockpit Space

Family boaters with big expectations need a sport boat with the cockpit capacity and over-nighting capabilities to exceed them. With innovative design from storage to seating, the Maxum 2100 SC3 surpasses every competitor in its class for usable cockpit square footage. It also offers a comfortable cuddy cabin with abundant storage and standard portable head to take a day of fun on the water well into the night. And with hot new color and graphic choices, the 2100 looks just as good as it performs.

Maxum is renowned for creating highly versatile, highly responsive sport boats with active boaters in mind. As the newest member of the “3 Series,” the 2100 caters to the sports enthusiast with an extra wide swim platform that sits low to the water and an enormous ventilated storage trunk with an integral seat—the perfect place to don a wakeboard and hit the water. An optional Flexiteek swim platform adds a classic touch that looks spectacular and stands up to years of use.

Moving forward, Maxum incorporated a walkthrough door that hinges inboard and a flip-up hatch that covers the canvas for unobstructed passage to the unbelievably spacious cockpit. With generous usable space, the 2100 dominates its category and provides plenty of room to move about and stow gear.

Since different boaters have different needs, flexible seating has always been a priority in every Maxum design. The 2100 offers a choice of three different arrangements. The standard sport seating has a large L-shaped lounge and two suspension bucket seats. Optional arrangements replace the L-lounge, transom storage trunk and integral seat to open the cockpit even more. The first adds aft jump seats, an engine box and back-to-back loungers to port that convert to a sun lounge. The second features two bucket helm seats and a large aft bench with storage below and a roomy sun pad for those who prefer tanning to tearing up the wakes.

Performance, maneuverability and precision are other key advantages of the 2100SC3. The 2100’s ergonomic helm with power steering coupled with a standard 4.3L (220 HP) MPI Alpha I stern drive provide optimum power and responsive handling. Well placed throttle and shift controls allow the pilot to react quickly while 360° visibility and an anti-glare dash pod keep gauges—and swimmers—in clear view at all times. So from leisurely afternoon cruises with the family or full-tilt extreme wakeboarding, Maxum’s 2100SC3 masters every challenge easily.

Active boaters not only expect superior performance, they demand absolute comfort, too. The 2100SC3 answers with features like an MP3-compatible JBL® AM/FM CD stereo system with six waterproof speakers and an entertainment center with carry-on cooler and dedicated storage. A wraparound windshield system and standard color-coordinated canvas convertible top with dedicated storage keep everyone onboard sheltered from the elements if the weather takes a sudden turn. The entire canvas cover hinges aft for easy access, so deployment is a simple one-person operation. To add a touch of elegance, an optional vintage décor package with teak table and pillows turns the cockpit into the ideal setting for entertaining.

The cuddy cabin is just as comfortable when it comes to overnight jaunts. The wide cushioned v-berth converts easily from seating to sleeping space, and it conceals a large storage compartment below. The 2100 features Sunbrella® fabrics for the ultimate in quality and durability. A portable head is also standard, so families can spend more time on the water and less time at the dock.

The 2100 has an impressive list of options ranging from power plant upgrades to a hot sports graphics package to allow boaters the flexibility to suit their style. And it’s backed by Maxum’s transferable limited lifetime structural hull warranty. So for those boaters with big expectations in a sport boat, Maxum’s 2100 delivers.
