Australian luxury boat builder Mustang Marine, has enjoyed a very successful few days, returning from the 2008 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show with several new international dealers, glowing customer feedback, and higher than expected sales.

This year Mustang made an innovative change to its boat show display, moving its product showcase to the Hyatt Lagoon Swimming Pool.  The exclusive location paid off, creating a truly relaxing and tranquil setting to view the company’s range of sports cruiser and sports flybridge vessels.

Leading in to the show sales expectations were difficult to predict however actual results were very encouraging for the brand.  While Mustang exceeded its sales forecast across both the sports cruiser and sports flybridge ranges, promising interest was also registered for the upcoming releases of the new 430 Sports Coupé and the M56 Sports Flybridge.

“It was an extremely rewarding show for the Mustang team.  Our new location proved to be the perfect setting for potential customers to view and appreciate our products and this was reflected in our higher than anticipated sales figures” explains Mustang Marine CEO, Chris Heaton.

In keeping with the company’s expansion plans, Mustang also hosted a number of international guests over the four day period.  Potential dealers from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East expressed their enthusiasm for the Mustang brand and its plans for the future with several new dealers welcomed in to the Mustang Marine family.

“Mustang has been working tirelessly to build its distribution network over the years.  With the new direction and product development program that is now in place, potential dealers are very excited to be involved.” Reported Jan den Braber, International Sales Manager.

The Mustang Beach Party stole the show on the Saturday evening.  Situated around the Hyatt Lagoon beach, the live entertainment, fireworks display, and mechanical surfboard created a fun and exciting environment for more than 200 Mustang owners and guests to meet and mingle.

Following on from the successful week, Mustang is now back to work further developing its retail operations and continuing with its product development program with a view to launching the new 430 Sports Coupé in December this year, and the M56 Sports Flybridge in early 2009.
