The Itama SeventyFive, a cutting edge in carbon fibre.

The shipyard is currently preparing the arrival of the new Itama SeventyFive. Taking its starting point from the famous Itama 38 and 60 models it has been designed and built by the Itama and Ferretti Group Engineering Departments, in collaboration with the architect Marco Casali.

Early information, ahead of the spring 2008 debut, confirm a design with extraordinary living environments and use of space: an innovative approach that achieves a greater differentiation and functional improvement, whilst maintaining the extremely exclusive finish of this type of boat. The final result is an extremely seductive design and decidedly exclusive features.

One of the unique features will be the avantop: a carbon fibre and glass sliding top that will, in a few seconds, close off and protect the whole front of the cockpit, even whilst cruising. Even the classic windshield has been revised by replacing the steel frame with a new carbon fibre tubular construction. The external line highlights the hull’s powerful capabilities. The sporting soul of this open boat is perfectly expressed with the very high bow, the accentuated bilge of the profile and the thin rake of the central top.

The cockpit, almost 10 metres long, is divided into 4 zones and it includes a second dinette, forward of the bridge, in order to fully exploit the privacy and improve the living area. The area is accentuated by fascinating lighting systems using leds and optical fibres. This area communicates directly with the bow sundeck through a unique central passageway, so that access to the whole deck area becomes comfortable and safe. The large stern sundeck, with double side passageways, conceals the garage that comfortably houses a tender or jetski; the bridge is thus very comfortable. The cockpit sofas wrap around a table that can comfortably seat 12 people.

The lower deck houses a generous full beam master cabin at the centre of the boat, with large openings to the outside and low furniture that make the most of the boat’s beam. The galley can be accessed directly from the dinette, as well as from the crew cabin, which also has its own separate outside access. The standard layout will consist of 4 cabins (master, full beam VIP, one with two separate beds and one with bathroom for the crew) and 4 bathrooms, as well as a double cabin with en-suite bathroom for the crew. The boat will also be available in a 3-cabins with en-suite bathrooms version. In this second layout the dinette becomes remarkably large and can house a bar and a 60′ television.

The materials and finish will be in pure Itama style: teak, white lacquered surfaces, fine black Maquina marble for the floors and light coloured wood for the bathroom fittings, streamlined furniture and fittings inspired by seventies design complete the atmosphere. Natural illumination is guaranteed by the wide openings, such as the master cabin’s windows, whilst the artificial light is harmoniously diffused in the environment by the special double background plates designed specifically for this model.

The New SeventyFive, even prior to its launch, is already a boat that promises a rich and innovative experience, with the added value and charm of a classic boat to the most demanding fans of the open. The boat’s performance expresses once again the company’s philosophy ‘The pleasure of Power’. Two 1823 horsepower MTU engines with Arneson ASD 14 drive push the SeventyFive to a maximum speed of 45 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 40 knots.

There will also be a limited VHP (very high performance) series that, as well as featuring a more refined construction and finish, will also be available with a different engine set up capable of achieving 60 knots.

The brand new Itama SeventyFive is a yacht that will take Itama’s classic and time honoured combination of style and power to new heights.
