The new Sea Jay QuickStrike

Sea Jay strikes the sports fishing boat market a blow with the release of their new high performance, incredibly fishable 5m sports fishing machine – “QuickStrike”.

On inspection of the Sea Jay QuickStrike serious anglers will identify the superior qualities of its design, durable construction and first class finish and will desire to own one. 

Stemming from the recently developed and highly successful Viper model and years of sports fishing experience in the Barra Nationals, the QuickStrike incorporates extended front and rear casting platforms maximizing fishing decks.

Sea Jay’s new Total Control Station (T.C.S) offers users ergonomic instrumentation positioning, Seastar hydraulic steering (QuickStrike only), a Sounder/GPS mount, tinted sports wind shield with aerodynamic appeal and a compact design neatly integrated into the forward casting deck. First developed for the Viper, the T.C.S comes as standard equipment in the QuickStrike enhancing the sports fishing appeal of this sleek hull.

The QuickStrike features premium aluminium welded construction for extreme durability; 4mm pressed strake bottom enhanced with Sea Jay’s unique capped keel, 3mm Platinum sides and Sure Trac hull. Sea Jay has certainly stepped into the sports fishing arena with improved plate design that will withstand knocks from serious fishing.   

The QuickStrike’s excellent handling, rough water comfort and top end performance is delivered to you by Sure Trac; rated to 115hp the QuickStrike has an exceptional hole shot, planning easily and efficiently. 

The Sure Trac hull provides a smooth and controlled ride and makes cornering feel like the boat is on rails. It’s this power, manoeuvrability and speed that are sure to get the adrenalin flowing in excited sports fisherman.

A large storage cavity under the forward deck is designed to house a large esky neatly, allowing for more fishable boat deck and protecting your esky from accidental damage. An option is available to convert this storage cavity into an oversize plumbed live well.

The rear casting platform boasts both a generous plumbed live bait tank and Sea Jay’s unique fold up bench seating for three.

A lack of storage is one downfall of many aluminium boats on the market; the QuickStrike boasts no less than five generous storage areas to store your tackle, safety and miscellaneous gear, resulting in clean decks ready to fish.

While most aluminium boats have welded on pods Sea Jay has integrated the bottom and side sheets into the pod design. The integrity of the pod is superior and more aesthetically pleasing. The integrated pod design also offers larger water surface area designed to float any of the two or four stroke motors in the market today.
