Quality time – alone, with friends or family, boating enthusiasts say there’s no better way to spend it than cruising, fishing or skiing Australia’s fabulous waterways.

The Sydney International Boat Show (July 31-August 5) will drive this fact home when more than 300 of the land’s leading manufacturers, distributors and marine retailers gather at Darling Harbour to display the best of the best from the nautical world.

Sponsored by NSW Maritime and organised by the Boating Industry Association of NSW, the show, the 20th to be held at Darling Harbour, will be a true celebration of the boating lifestyle.

The spectacular Cockle Bay Marina, where in excess of 300 luxury craft will be on display, the Yamaha Fishing Clinic, Better Boating Lounge, both with an array of interesting presenters, and daily fashion parades by Musto comprise other factors to tempt show visitors.

Domenic Genua, Marketing and Event Manager for the association, said research undertaken had revealed that show visitors sought entertainment and information.

“With that in mind we have pulled out all stops to entertain and inform, not only for boating enthusiasts, but for all who find their way to Darling Harbour for what is the largest exhibition staged there,” Genua added.
