Sabre 52 Salon Express – enhancing the experience of cruising.

The history of Sabre yachts goes back 38 years to1970 – a very short time in the history of boat building in Maine, USA where the industry began as early as 1607. The traditions of Maine boat-building have survived through the centuries and Sabre Yachts is today one of Maine’s leading boat-builders with a worldwide reputation for style and quality.

The Sabre 52 Salon Express is the flagship of the fleet and the ultimate cruising yacht. Power, smooth operation, comfort, quiet and efficiency are features that the experienced yacht owner expects to find in a fine motor yacht.

The Sabre 52 achieves these goals and offers these features along with utmost safety and a strikingly handsome design.Sabre Motor Yachts Interior

The traditional down east interior styling of the Sabre 52 is a sight to behold with her modern appointments and light, airy and welcoming spaces throughout.

From her fiberglass swim platform (teak is optional), a transom gate leads into the cockpit and its generous seating area.

A forward-facing settee offers a sun-drenched venue for up to four guests, with a two-seat, aft-facing settee shaded by the hardtop overhang.

Most guests will likely be drawn into the 52’s pilothouse by the handsome hue of its cherry interior and teak-and-holly soles and, on hot days, its standard 32,000-Btu air conditioning.

Here, a portside, C-shape settee is finished in beige leather to match the pair of standard Stidd helm seats; it’s just to the rear of a wet bar with an icemaker. On days when air conditioning isn’t needed, sliding side windows and an electric sunroof let in cool breezes.

Her vee-hull with propeller pockets is sea-worthy and dry. Standard Caterpillar C 15 fully electronic Acert engines, each capable of delivering 865hp, are linked to Twin Disc Shift transmissions for smooth and powerful operation. The 52 will cruise comfortably in the mid 20 knot range. A 17Kw generator provides AC electrical services aboard and DC system is 24 volt.

Moulded steps from the aft cockpit provide easy access to her functional and well lit engine room.

SABRE raises a new standard with its 52 Saloon Express, where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design. Truly a magnificent creation and a vessel of timeless style and elegance.
