CONTINUAL DEVELOPMENT BRINGS NEW CABIN TO RIVIERA 41 OPEN FLYBRIDGE

Continual product development at Australia’s largest luxury boat builder, Riviera, has seen more innovation to its popular 41 Open Flybridge model.

Since its launch in March 2007, Riviera has sold more than 50 of the sleek new-look two-cabin model.

Now this boat is being offered with an even more generous size starboard guest cabin. The new layout, developed following market feedback, includes a comprehensive redesign of the guest accommodation area, extending and remodelling the guest cabin after deleting the second bathroom. As well as adding floor space, the cabin includes a third fore-and aft bunk and additional storage forward.

The two bathroom configuration includes two single beds and a slide-out athwartships bunk in this cabin.

Other refinements include a solid shower unit in the bathroom and additional storage in the galley and saloon.

Riviera’s Concept Design Manager Neil McCabe describes the Riviera 41 as: “an evolution of the styling we introduced with the new era Riviera 40 six years ago.

“This is a big volume boat at 43 feet and three inches hull length and a beam of 15 feet.

“It has a more robust look to the trailing edge flair between the cabin and cockpit. We designed the flybridge to offer more space in the aft section than earlier similar-size models and the tinted windscreen has a wrap-around look.”

The Riviera 41 features a porthole in the hull, introducing more natural light and ventilation into the starboard cabin.

A noticeable feature of the new 41 is the generous headroom throughout the interior, from the saloon forward to the accommodation space. The engine room, too, has comfortable space to service all equipment.

The interior layout displays clean contemporary lines with timber cabinetry in a high gloss cherry finish. An open layout brings the saloon lounge, dinette and galley together in one living space, with the galley just one step down from the main living area. The dinette to starboard is set on a slightly raised platform with quality Amtico flooring. The high/low table can quickly convert to a day bed with a cushion that is stored in a large space under the galley.

Standard engine configuration on the Riviera 41 Open Flybridge is twin Caterpillar C7 ACERT turbo diesels rated at 339kW/460hp.
