Smaller just got better with Raymarine’s new A Series

Raymarine’s new A Series of chart plotters and fishfinders/plotters are solid proof that good things do come in small packages.

Best described as miniature versions of Raymarine’s award-winning C, E and G Series units, and completely waterproof, the new A Series is ideal for trailer boats, including open runabouts and even centre consoles.

Several of the new models come with Raymarine’s patented digital fishfinding technology, with the digital data module an integral part of the unit. All the owner has to do is plug in the power cable and the transducer to receiver crystal clear digital images.

All models also come complete with a built-in high sensitivity GPS sensor (no external receiver is required) and Navionics 3D charts, covering all of the Pacific and Asia.

The A Series fishfinder/plotters are also exceptionally easy to install. With an innovative quick-release, swivel-mount bracket, the unit can be quickly fitted and easily removed for security.

All A Series units also feature strikingly-clear, landscape-format VGA screen displays, making it easy to see all the information displayed, even in the brightest of direct sunlight.

Like their larger cousins, the new A Series units feature a brand new engine interface. This allows users to display engine monitoring and data, as well as AIS and autopilot functions, along with a variety of plotting and fishfinding functions, in up to four separate windows at one time.

Raymarine’s trademark easy of use and front-mounted active and hot keys allow users to quickly and simply navigate between the various windows.

The new A Series is available in three size: 5”, 5.7” and 6.4” and as either GPS chartplotters or GPS chartplotters/fishfinders.
