The New Look Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show,
A Boat Show like No Other
The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show is ready to impress this October.

Dates : October 9-11 2009, Mandurah Ocean Marina

The Club Marine Mandurah Boat show has undergone a dramatic facelift and is ready to impress this October  9-11th. You’ll be spoilt by the brand new look and feel of Australia’s 3rd largest boat show and it’s newfound lifestyle focus.

Armed with a brand new visitor friendly layout, completion of the all-new fisheries building, and a completely redesigned show, organizers can hardly contain their excitement for the opening in October 09. The new Fisheries building will be incorporated into the lineup and play host to a huge range of government agency displays. Confirmed agencies include the WA Water Police, Department of Fisheries and DPI Marine Safety. Modifications to the on water walkways has resulted in a brand new layout leading directly from water displays straight to the accessory marquee’s main entrance, creating even flow and ease of access throughout all areas of the show.

Getting to the show has never been this easy. Why stress over driving when you can travel there faster on the Perth-Mandurah train line or take a ride on the helicopter shuttle service for that special treat? However, if you choose to drive, the recent completion of the new freeway extension will take a whole 10mins off your journey from the city to Mandurah. The shuttle bus service has been streamlined to conveniently collect you from stops at the Mandurah train station and the designated park and ride area, delivering you straight to the show’s doorstep.

Once you step through the gates you will be blown away at this year’s variety of displays. This show really does have something for everyone. Boats of all sizes, exciting accessories, diving equipment, fishing tackle, boating clothing and apparel, water sports displays, engines, trailers, a huge range of state of the art electronics and much more. There’s so much to see that visitors will need the whole weekend to do it all!

The new look show is very hands on with an exclusive area for non-motorized vessels on the beach where you can try before you buy; kayaks, paddle boats and water skis just to name a few.

We’ll even have a boat demonstration area where professionals will offer trailer-reversing advice, and explain step-by-step procedures for successfully launching a boat. You can also take a ride on a personal watercraft as well as a selection of boats which will be available to sea trial.

If you’d rather take a step back and watch someone else do all the hard work then make sure you don’t miss any of the exciting lifestyle demonstrations. The show’s favourite cooking personality Club Marine’s Bart Beek will be back to cook up a storm with his mouth-watering seafood recipes. Bushman Malcolm Douglas will also take centre stage once again to demonstrate his no frills, trusty bush cooking skills for when there’s nothing more than the basics.

Don’t miss the chance to learn from one of Australia’s fishing greats, Hodgy the barefoot fisherman. Along with other skilled anglers he’ll be showing off his skills at the Engel Aquatank Fishing Show where a 40,000 litre tank filled to the brim with Barramundi will take centre stage.

This year will see the addition of the kids fishing clinic as well as other activities including face painting, Jolly Jim the Pirate puppet show and carnival rides.

After all the excitement and with the constant aroma of the cooking demonstrations drifting by, the hunger pains are sure to kick in. There are plenty of food options available around the show grounds including healthy alternatives.

After you’ve grabbed a bite to eat why not relax on the grass of the Mandurah Offshore Fishing & Sailing Clubhouse and have a drink at the Yamaha Bar where there will be live music and even a fashion parade showcasing the latest in boating and swimwear.

Accommodation choices have also been expanded with the recent completion of a brand new 4-star hotel The Sebel Mandurah. The Atrium Hotel and the popular Seashells Resort are also both just a short stroll from the show, so now there’s no shortage of quality accommodation.
