Australia’s premier luxury boat builder, Maritimo, continues to expand its dealer network with the appointment of Pier 35 Boat Sales to represent the brand in Victoria and Tasmania.

The company has also announced the appointment of dealers in Greece and the Netherlands.

“In Australia, the appointment of Pier 35 Boat Sales will add great strength to our sales organisation,” said Maritimo’s Peter Jenkins.

“Principals Des and Adam Jackson are two of the most experienced and skilled boat dealers in Australia. Their team will add real value to our owners boating experience throughout south-eastern Australia.”

Pier 35 is a family-owned and operated business in Victoria and the Jackson family has been selling boats for more than six decades.

Des Jackson said that Pier 35 Boat Sales was delighted to represent the Maritimo brand.

“I have known the Maritimo team over many years,” said Mr Jackson. “Bill Barry-Cotter builds magnificent boats and we are especially proud to be able to represent his craftsmanship.

“My team is focussed on bringing a new dimension of quality service to Maritimo owners in our region.”

In Europe, Maritimo has appointed MasterYachts in Athens to represent the brand throughout Greece.

Maritimo’s Marketing Director, Luke Durman said: “With Captain Costis Arzinos and naval architect Alex Orfanos at the helm, MasterYachts is backed by 35 years of experience.

“They will be a valuable partner in one of the most attractive boating regions in the world.”

Orange Nautical Services, headed by Maurits Zeinstra, is based at Zaandam in Amsterdam.

Mr Durman said that the recent appointment of Galati Yacht sales in the United States cemented the company’s representation in the Americas.

“We now have a strong focus on Europe,” he said. “Maritimo is now well represented in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Greece. Our new models are certain to attract boat owners throughout Europe and we want to ensure they have quality local representatives.”

Mr Durman said that the company will release six new models during calendar 2010, with a 470 Offshore Convertible and 47 Sport Cabriolet with pod drives on schedule for launch before the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
