Whittley Marine has appointed Geelong Boating Centre as a Whittley Sea Legend and Clearwater Dealer, adding to its established range of Whittley Inflatable Boats.

Geelong Boating Centre will offer all four Sea Legend and eight Clearwater models, with a choice of Yamaha outboard and Volvo Penta inboard power.

The two additional ranges build on the centre’s existing Whittley connection as a dealer for the eight-model range of Whittley Inflatable Boats established in early 2009.

Geelong Boating Centre has been serving local boating enthusiasts for more than 40 years, and is owned and operated by keen boaters Cameron MacDonald and Andrew Cowan.

As one of the longest-established Yamaha dealers in Victoria, it offers Yamaha outboards to suit everything from the smallest Whittley Inflatable Boat up to a Sea Legend SL26.

Cameron MacDonald said the decision to offer the Sea Legend and Clearwater models was a good complement to his business and current product offering.

“Clearwater offers very attractive affordable fibreglass boating packages while Sea Legends are true bluewater fishing boats with all the luxury appointments expected of a Whittley boat,” he said.

“It goes without saying that the quality is beyond reproach, and we believe Geelong boaters will welcome the local availability of these fine boats.

Whittley Co-Owner and Managing Director, Neville Whittley, said the appointment of Geelong Boating Centre as a Sea Legend and Clearwater dealer reflected the growth in Whittley’s product range and dealer network.

“Since appointing Geelong Boating Centre to launch our Whittley Inflatable Boats last year, we have developed a strong mutual respect, and it was natural to appoint them as our Geelong dealer for Sea Legend and Clearwater,” he said.

“This is yet another step in our plan to make our boats more accessible to the market, while at the same time expanding our range to cover all main classes of trailerable fibreglass boats.”
