Hanse 385 – Cruise Fast in Comfort
Take the helm of the new Hanse 385 and enjoy the best cockpit in a yacht of this class.
The deck layout is designed specifically for fast cruising. You’ll find the gear is laid out by sailors for sailors.
Everything you need is in easy reach and the self-tacking headsail means you can easily cruise short or single handed.
Notice also how clear the decks are – they are incredibly safe for your crew.
The 385 has the Jefa Hanse twin steering wheel solution as standard offering you great visibility and easy boarding.
This top class steering system, long rudder and deep T-bulb keel combine to bring you a yacht which handles like a dream in forward and reverse.
The newly designed cockpit table has a storage box, optional fridge and grill and a rotating plotter pod.
A large swim platform gives you that ‘big-boat feel’ at anchor or in the marina.

The 385 is built using a sandwich construction hull topsides with a robust GRP inner grid. The mast is deck stepped with chain plates integrated into the toe rail.
The 385 is a categorised by GL as A – Ocean Going.
Hanse 385 Interior – Contemporary, Innovative and Spacious
Yacht owners asked for more light and space… and Hanse have delivered.
The Hanse 385 interior is incredibly spacious for a yacht of this size.
The interior design is based on the hugely successful contemporary loft style of the Hanse 445 and Hanse 495.
This is a gorgeous living space.
In the daytime light floods through the generous hatches and windows. And at night the SLS, touch-panel light control system allows you to choose the ambience that works for you.
This is a programmable system. So you can pre-set a mode for cooking, eating and relaxing after dinner and the lights will brighten or dim at the push of a button.
The numerous opening hatches offer great ventilation, or if you prefer you can choose air-conditioning as an option.
You’ll find two full-size flush hatches above the owner’s cabin. There are also flush hatches above the head and galley and extra large cockpit port lights.
The master cabin offers a huge 205 x 234(110)cm berth with 195cm headroom and heaps of hanging space in the two wardrobes.
You can choose from 2 galley options. The standard 2 cabin version has a large U shaped galley with extra work surfaces and cupboard space.
In the saloon the large foldable and folding navigation seat allow you to open up the space underway.
