Nothing succeeds like success and in the case of the Nautilus Marine inspired program which specifically targets the sailing at the club level, this has now been embraced by Yachting Queensland (YQ).

Yachting Queensland has joined forces with Nautilus Marine to provide a special insurance package for sailors. YQ and Nautilus have developed a policy that provides a wide range of benefits to sailing clubs and individual members throughout Queensland.

This follows on from the scheme which has been adopted in NSW, SA and WA.

The YQ branded insurance product will give members the best opportunity to access market leading insurance, through the negotiated rate and coverage agreed between YQ and Nautilus Marine. With every policy, funds will flow into YQ, which will then be equally shared with the policy holders’ club.

This innovative program has been designed to deliver benefits all round. YQ is determined to be proactive in providing tangible benefits to its members’ clubs, and this is a significant step in this direction.

According to Denis Cook, Executive Office of Yachting Queensland, signing on for the Nautilus Marine backed insurance program is a progressive move for yachties in Queensland.

“We have closely monitored the Nautilus Marine program as it has been rolled out through our sister yachting organisations in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia,” said Denis Cook.

“We have been very impressed, not only with the way the program has been presented and marketed, but also the feedback which we have received from our yachting colleagues.”

“The joint venture is definitely delivering benefits to yacht clubs and their members so we are delighted to come aboard too.” This is a quality insurance policy which we are very happy to put our YQ brand to.”

Lyndon Turner, CEO of Nautilus Marine, rates the growth of the co-operative program as further proof of Nautilus Marine’s commitment to the yacht market and sailors.

“It is a pleasure to have Yachting Queensland join the program,” Lyndon Turner said. “Queensland is a major boating state and yachting is very prominent in the boating community. We will work in conjunction with YQ to ensure all members are covered by this scheme.”

“Yachties throughout Queensland can look forward to seeing strong support coming from Nautilus Marine”.

The YQ policy features and benefits include $10 million Public Liability, $50,000 Personal Accident cover, automatic racing cover and Australian wide cover on water and transit.

With over 125 years of marine insurance expertise between the senior Nautilus Marine executives, Nautilus Marine is absolutely committed to providing high levels of customer service, backed by local knowledge.
