In a bold industry move, the Windcraft Group of companies has acquired the majority share holding in the boutique yacht brokerage Yoti.

Since it’s inception in 2007 Yoti has grown quickly to become a dominant force in the sale of quality brokerage yachts in Australia.  This move gives Windcraft a dedicated brokerage section and allows the company’s other divisions, Team Windcraft and eyachts, to specialise in new boat sales.

Specifically Team Windcraft is the exclusive Australian dealer for the popular Hanse, Moody and Dehler brands while the eyachts specialist range includes premium yacht brands like Solaris, Shipman and Buizen and the innovative Greenline Hybrid motor cruisers.

Peter Hrones MD of the Windcraft Group commented

“I am delighted the Windcraft Group are now a major holder in Yoti.”

Over the past ten years Windcraft has grown to become one of the largest new boat dealers in the region. This recent acquisition has been driven by our desire to provide the very best path to market for our existing customers looking to upgrade or sell their yachts.  This move also cements the Windcraft Group and clearly defines each section of the company. Yoti have excelled in the brokerage segment and now with our backing are set to expand and offer an even more effective service for our clients”.

To allow room for the expansion of the Windcraft Group and ensure the availability of marina berths for Pittwater customers, the eyachts and Yoti divisions of Windcraft head office will be based at Quays Marina Church Point. Team Windcraft’s head office remains at Bayview Anchorage Marina and eyachts and Yoti will still have window display and full access to the Windcraft Group Service Centre, which now employs 6 full time staff. Yoti will continue to operate from their existing head office at the Spit Sydney Harbour.
