R Marine Perth Variety Splash

R Marine Perth is encouraging Riviera owners to get behind the 2013 R Marine Variety Splash to help sick, special needs and disadvantaged children live, laugh and learn.

The last event attracted 131 adults and 30 children who together raised more than $150,000 for Variety WA.

Participating boats are encouraged to dress in a theme.  In the past there has been Toy Story, The Wiggles, Romans, Surf Life Savers, and Grease, to name a few.

This year participants have the option of joining the Splash for the first leg from Fremantle to Mandurah, or alternatively they can complete the entire journey to Busselton.

R Marine Perth hosted the first of a number of fundraising events to be held in the lead up to the Splash.  The Variety Raft Up was held in December with more than 20 Rivieras and 100 people in attendance, the event raised more than $15,000 for Variety WA – a great start to the annual Variety Splash.

There will be two functions in February, the Cabaret Burlesque Dinner Show on February 9, and The Great Gatsby Variety WA Ball 2013 on February 15.
