To better support its comprehensive dealer network, Mercury has appointed two new Territory Managers who bring extensive experience and talent to their roles.

John Martinovic has been appointed as Territory Manager (NSW), while Travis White is the new Territory Manager (Queensland).

“Our field staff are focused on developing and growing our Dealers, to be more successful in a challenging market place,” said Will Sangster, Mercury Sales Manager (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific).

“The energy and skill set of both John and Travis will be a positive benefit to both Mercury Marine and our network of dealers, OEM’s and Commercial customers so it is fantastic to have them aboard.

“They’ll be helping from the retail front-end of the business in engine, accessories and inflatable sales right through to hard parts sales generated from the service department,” he said.

Prior to joining Mercury, John worked with Brown & Watson Australia for eight years in a business development role and as NSW Sales Manager.

Before that he worked in increasingly senior sales roles at Auto Concepts, Meguiars, Mycar Automotive and Autobarn.

Travis, a qualified marine diesel technician, is no newcomer to Mercury having worked for the organisation in a technical role in Queensland from 2005 to 2007.

Since then he has expanded his knowledge-base further with roles in the marine industry ranging across technical support, application support, sales and operations.

Both Travis and John will complete an elaborate two-week induction program, before taking up their new responsibilities.
