Some boats are born with superior genes. The MC5, launched in Düsseldorf January 2013, and the MC5S, world debut in Cannes September 2013, have inherited powerful features from the larger models in the Monte Carlo Yachts range: striking but timeless design, luxurious detailing and innovative solutions unprecedented in this class, plus an air of nobility that is utterly Monte Carlo.

The Beneteau Group is pursuing its strategic expansion of the Monte Carlo Yachts concept with its sub-60ft Monte Carlo range and developing, alongside the flybridge motor cruisers, a Hard-Top version of each model.

Further to its launch during the Düsseldorf boat show in January 2013, the MC5, first model in the range of the same name, is today available in a new « S » version.

Available from spring 2014, the MC5 « S » presents the same features as the MC5: large living spaces, perfect transition from kitchen to saloon on the main deck, 3 cabins and en-suit bathrooms and even the spacious hydraulic sun bathing platform – whilst affirming its difference thanks to its sporty and sleek line.

But what makes its truly unique is its private saloon integrated to the Hard- top.

The MC5 S offers all the characteristics of a Hard-top, including the glass sunroof. It also features a real saloon at the rear – a large bathing platform, convertible into a saloon with a 4 people capacity, equipped with sound system, fridge or shade canvas (optional).

This area is perfectly integrated to the boat’s design and offers a true private lounge space, unique on any 50ft yacht.

MONTE CARLO 5

The MC5 is born from the desire to come up with a style both traditional and innovative, encompassing the need for more responsible boating and a return to the core value of luxury goods as well as from the decision to combine the industrial know-how of the world-leading French Group with quintessential Italian nautical design.

This translates into elegance, refinement and quality. Its slim bow hull has been designed to sail in all sea conditions, thereby ensuring a safe passage.

Purposely drawn to take a Volvo IPS engine, the MC5 offers a choice between the IPS 500 or 600. The perfect combination of the hull and selected engine make the MC5 an enjoyable and comfortable boat to sail.

The MC5 style has a unique charm. It is a feisty yacht, with a streamlined look and a timeless beauty.

With its strong individual features, it stands out thanks to its Aqua Blue hull colour, soft shade especially created for this model, also found on the Williams jet type dinghy console (optional).

Its sleek and assertive line is emphasized by the extraordinary, dominating flybridge. Wide convivial space, totally open on the sea.

At the front, the sunbathing platform extends the leisure and open air relaxation area. At the rear, the large hydraulic allows the easy storage of the dinghy or a jet ski and an altogether more enjoyable access to the water.

Barbeque fans will be able to enjoy an outdoor kitchen at this level. In the cockpit, there is the option of a crew cabin or a large storage locker.

The continuity between the outdoor and indoor space is provided by the sliding door which totally disappears. The main deck then becomes one and only living space, all on the same level.

The kitchen is located at the centre of the interaction spaces, on the main deck, right by the entrance on the left. Meticulous attention has been paid to the finishing, colours have been matched in a hue of greys and all materials carefully selected, with a Corian worktop and lacquered furniture in light taupe.

The saloon can be found further towards the wheelhouse. Laid out in two opposite sections, it is designed for get-togethers and sharing.

The wheelhouse enjoys the very latest equipment in terms of technology. The soft, wet look leather pilot seat (optional) has been purposely designed. The one-piece windscreen offers the largest visibility.

Finally, the air conditioning is circulated on both levels through the ceilings, giving a consistent temperature throughout the boat.

On board, everything has been thoroughly thought through: the choice of materials, light openings, balance of colours and textures. Nothing is left to chance. Every detail counts and this is what makes the richness and elegance of the MC5. Finishing is faultless: Soft Touch brushed wood on the angles, wet look leather. Part of the furniture is upholstered with vegetal tanned leather, carefully polished by hand on the top.

The night space consists of 3 cabins, designed to all offer an individual feel, whislt maintaining an overall harmony in shades of grey. The master cabin and VIP cabin, are fitted with en-suite shower- rooms in which the combination of materials, transparency, stainless steel, grey brushed oakwood and lacquered solid woods, emphasize the elegance and refinement found everywhere else on the boat.

The full-width master cabin is situated at the rear and is flooded with natural light streaming through the two large portholes

The VIP cabin is found at the front. Comfort is provided by the two large panoramic portholes either side. It is very spacious and extremely bright.

The guest cabin includes 2 superimposed beds. Each bed enjoys its own porthole.

Volumes, Comfort and Style are the main MC5 features. It stands for the same elegance and the same values conveyed by the Monte Carlo Yachts. Discover its « Classic, Forward » style!
