RAY WHITE Marine is set to tap into the lucrative Sanctuary Cove boating market after setting up shop in the Marine Village.

The company will initially operate from Ray White Sanctuary Cove’s real estate office before moving to its own premises in the New Year.

It is the third office for Ray White Marine which is based at Main Beach and has another office in Sydney’s Rozelle Bay.

Ray White Marine's Rick Rodwell said the popularity of boating at Sanctuary Cove reinforced the need for a dedicated onsite sales office.

“Quite simply it will change the way that Sanctuary Cove residents sell and buy boats,” he said.

“Sellers will now be able keep their boat moored at the Sanctuary Cove Marina where viewings and inspections can take place with minimal disruption.

“It’s also a one-stop-shop for buyers who will be able walk through the marina and see what’s for sale in the flesh.”

Mr Rodwell said sellers from around Australia and overseas could also benefit from having their boats listed at Sanctuary Cove.

“There’s a great opportunity for sellers to take advantage of having their vessels displayed at the country’s leading boating community,” he said.

Mr Rodwell said Ray White Marine was revolutionising the Australian boat sales industry by bringing an internationally recognised brand and its extensive resources together with an experienced team of marine industry specialists.

“We offer a full suite of services including auctioning, brokering and sales of leading global luxury boat brands – both new and pre-owned, marinas and berths, along with concierge, finance, insurance, and professional marketing programs,” he said.

“Boat sellers at Sanctuary Cove will benefit from having a local shopfront as well as exposure to Ray White’s international network.”

Mulpha Sanctuary Cove executive general manager Keith Allardice said Ray White Marine’s presence would further cement Sanctuary Cove’s position as a leading boating community and destination.

“Many of our residents are avid boaties, so from a convenience perspective having Ray White Marine onsite is hugely positive,” he said.

“Ray White Marine will be a welcome addition to our Marine Village services for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.”

Ray White Marine’s expansion to Sanctuary Cove follows a hugely successful exhibit at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) in May where it displayed a Johnson 90 motor yacht which sold for $2.65 million and a Sunseeker Manhattan 53 with a replacement value of more than $2 million which sold to a local buyer.

Ray White real estate stalwart Lindsay Logan, who has worked with the Ray White Surfers Paradise Group for a decade, will head up the new Ray White Marine Sanctuary Cove office.

Ray White Marine is gearing up to take six spectacular boats to auction this Thursday, September 26 including a 2012 Ferretti 881 and Warwick 75 sailing yacht as well as a Moor and Store berth facility in the Gold Coast City Marina precinct. For more information visit raywhitemarine.net/auction.
