A new cruising catamaran syndication opportunity in the Whitsundays has been unveiled that makes boat ownership extremely affordable.

Eight shares have been made available in a stunning brand new Fountaine Pajot Hélia 44 that will be based at Hamilton Island marina, with three of these shares already sold.

This luxuriously appointed vessel, whose specifications have been tailored to suit a small syndicate of discerning owners, will be delivered during 2014 by Multihull Solutions with the date only subject to finalising syndicate membership.

The syndicate, which will be professionally managed by Yacht Share International, will comprise only eight members, each enjoying six cruising weeks available per year on the catamaran.  Shareholders also contribute a modest monthly fee to cover all mooring, maintenance, cleaning, insurance and other costs.

The Hélia 44 Hamilton Island syndicate will be professionally managed by Yacht Share International, an experienced Sydney-based yacht syndicate management company, headed by Kevin Brandt.

A share in the Hélia 44 syndication currently starts from just AUD$118,750 including GST, based on an estimated on-the-water price of AUD$950,000, which is subject to currency fluctuations and to the final specifications and options selected by the syndicate members who have signed up prior to ordering.

The Hélia 44 is the ideal cruising catamaran for the Whitsundays, as its light-filled and spacious design make it the epitome of liveaboard luxury.

The catamaran’s majestic lines, sleek horizontal styling and flush twin solar panels deliver top performances under sail with innovative living areas designed for comfort both underway and at anchor. A protected, high-visibility steering station is connected directly to the cockpit for ease of movement, while the helmsman’s bench provides comfortable seating for three guests to share in the Whitsunday sailing experience.

The ergonomic deck allows for centralised manoeuvring, and the boom is easily accessible with no obstacles. The superbly designed lounge deck complements the boat’s streamlined style and is a beautiful haven for relaxing and enjoying the world-famous views.

Indoor and outdoor living are integrated with the Hélia 44’s galley opening onto the protected cockpit, which is seamlessly connected to the lounge deck on one convenient level, effectively creating an exceptional 50m2 of entertaining space. Features include a very large table and bench seating for 8-10 people, a sumptuous lounge suite for decadent relaxation, and outdoor fridge available as an optional extra.

The saloon is sleek and modern with an abundance of natural light, designer fixtures and fittings, and forward-facing navigation station. The U-shaped is comprehensively equipped and has an unparallel storage capacity for extended cruising.

Located off the passageways, the three cabins are designed as peaceful retreats. Enjoying excellent natural light and ventilation, all cabins in this Owner’s version feature double beds, private ensuites and large windows affording outstanding views.  There will also be single berths fitted in the forepeaks, making it perfect for children.

The Syndicate's Hélia 44 will be fitted with Fountaine Pajot's Eco Cruising option, which includes a solar panel array, wind generator, additional house-battery, low current LED electrics and a status monitoring system.

The catamaran also features upgraded Volvo 55HP engines, upgraded fridge and freezer options, a Garmin Navigation pack including GPS, VHF and autopilot, electric mainsail winch and automatic reefing (1st reef), stainless steel BBQ and bait board, 23" LED TV & DVD player in saloon, 240v shore power air-conditioning to saloon, premium fans throughout all cabins, hot water deck shower, 3.4 metre tender with 4-stroke outboard, and a premium inventory of linen, towels, galley equipment and accessories.

The Hélia 44 has been specified for syndication in consultation with Multihull Solutions, the exclusive Australia, NZ and Asian distributor for Fountaine Pajot, and they will handle the local delivery of the boat.

A share in the syndicate can be secured by submitting a signed expression of interest form with a refundable AUD$2,500 deposit that is held until the remaining shares are sold and the boat can be officially ordered.
