Northside Marine (Malibu and Axis)

Exhibitor Northside Marine will showcase three new boats in an Australian launch – the Malibu Wakesetter VTX, the Malibu Response LXi and the Axis A22.

Northside Marine is the south-east Queensland dealer for both Malibu and Axis watersport tow boats.

The Wakesetter VTX is 6.1m with a beam of 2.49m.

The Response LXi  is used by world champions Will Asher and Thomas Degasperi. This 6.28m vessel can take up to eight people.

New innovations to the Malibu line in 2011 include the Malibu Touch Command (MTC), which is standard on all Wakesetters.

This offers touch-sensitive switching based on intuitive high-resolution graphical menus of the boat’s functions. Command ballast control, wedge adjustment, interior lighting, coded keyless ignition and available GPS navigation are some of the features.

To start the Wakesetter, just type in your code and touch the ‘start engine’ icon – keys are no longer needed. Malibu’s Illusion G3 Gas Spring Assisted Tower follows the lines of a Malibu boat.

The Axis A22 offers as standard skybox slide seating, a wakebox ballast system, shark fin and swivel seat, just some of the features. This 22ft craft has a capacity for 15 people with standard 335hp.
