Syndicated yacht ownership pioneer Yachtshare will reveal its new Seawind catamaran syndicate at Sanctuary Cove this year.

The new Seawind 1000XL catamaran, to be based in Manly, Brisbane offers owners immediate access to Moreton Bay and the islands. Full details of the syndicate will be revealed at the Show.

Yachtshare CEO Barry Pares said the boat will be fully-serviced, fully-maintained and fully-managed on  behalf of owners. “We are offering 10 shares in the new boat,” said he said.

The boat offers four cabins and an enclosed bathroom while the saloon and cockpit combine into one large living and entertainment area with enough room to sail with up to 22 people aboard.

All Yachtshare boats offer premium walk-on, walk-off services including galley utensils, crockery and cutlery for up to eight people. Yachtshare owners retain equity in their vessels, which means they share the proceeds when their boat is sold after a three-year ownership period.

Owners are assured of equitable use of their boat through an online-calendar. They nominate the day or days they wish to use the boat by simply ticking the days on their calendar.

Special days such as public holidays are shared equally by owners over the three-year term. A share in the Seawind 1000XL is priced at $A48,500 plus $A750 per month ongoings.
