Premier Marine To Unveil All-New Regal 42 Sport Coupe At Sydney Boat Show 2011

Premier Marine launches Australia’s first ever Regal 42 Sport Coupe, which will be launched at the Sydney International Boat Show at Darling Harbour.

Bold aggressive lines are the first indication the 42 SC is a cut above. The exterior silhouette was designed by T4 Yachts, the same Italian based design firm that crafted the external beauty of Regal’s 52 Sport Coupe. Central to the 42 SC’s design is the enclosed hard top. The most distinguishing feature is this convertible hard top, which spans the entire cockpit beam and electrically slides back to reveal an abundance of natural light and open air. Not to let form surpass function, the windshield features a windshield walk-thru for safe and secure passage to the foredeck. The hardtop achieves all this without hindering sight lines or diminishing the headroom or sleek profile.

While many express cruisers focus on entertaining, few achieve it with greater ease and grace. The 42 SC features a single level cockpit sole that keeps guests on the same level. The French stitched upholstery can be upgraded to two-tone UltraLeather for unrivalled softness and sophistication. Favourite docktail accessories such as a smokeless electric grill, granite countertop and stainless icemaker can be added to the refreshment centre. The optional HD TV, that electrically swings open from the hardtop, enhances the entertainment value. Pair it with the optional satellite TV receiver to access your favourite programs at the dock or underway.Crew members in search of a golden tan will be drawn to the European sun lounge with multi-position chaise backrest, which offers space for four.

Lastly, Regal managed to alleviates the need for canvas with the optional solid cockpit enclosure. A sliding door and hinged windowpane open to transform the cockpit into an airy atrium. In a sea of coupe cockpit conformity, the Regal 42 SC stands in a light of its own.

Below deck, the generously appointed cabin continues to combine amenity rich features with creature comforts. The personal touch of every owner will be reflected in the cabin as Regal’s Custom Fit program allows for the selection of multiple choices among countertop materials, fabrics, flooring selections, cabinetry finishes and entertainment options.

The 42 SC features two private staterooms and private heads. The forward master stateroom features an island queen berth that is slightly offset to port to provide extra width at the foot and more standing room. Sliding the hardwood pocket door to the midcabin reveals the most headroom in its class. Onboard entertainment is provided by the standard Bose 3-2-1 theatre system and 26-inch TV that recesses into the salon headliner. The UltraLeather wrapped sofa with dual recliners creates the perfect venue to enjoy a settle in for a movie.

Though each interior will be as unique as each owner, the family and boater friendly layout remains distinctively Regal.
