Arvor boats release their top 20 Series III

Innovative boat builder Arvor released at the recent Sydney International Boat Show, another top model with the arrival of the new Arvor 20 Series III. The current expression of this European-designed craft has become a favourite amongst serious fishermen for its practical walk-around layout, easy to wash down cockpit and low running costs. Now with these latest improvements, the Arvor 20 Series III is even better.

A power upgrade to the turbocharged 100 hp Nanni Diesel engine means a 17.6% increase over the current model and results in a cruising speed of over 21 knots. Yet being a shaft drive diesel, this level of performance comes with lower fuel economy and less maintenance compared with other craft of this size which typically have petrol engines and stern drives. Cruising range is extended even further with an additional 55 litre fuel tank now being offered as standard equipment.

You can keep a closer eye on the engine department thanks to the new upgraded engine instrumentation. Steering response has also been improved thanks to the ‘Hydrive’ hydraulic steering system.

A new Lewmar power boat deck hatch has been fitted, incorporating the telescopic stay for improved cabin ventilation & comfort. For added visibility, the Series III has LED nav light bulbs which shine brighter and actually consume less power than conventional bulbs.
