Next weekend’s Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4×4 and Outdoors Expo at the RNA Showgrounds will feature a range of products that will be revealed to the Australian public for the first time.

The LIFESAVER Bottle and Nylon Anchor are just two products which will be debuted at the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4×4 and Outdoors Expo to make life a little bit easier for outdoors enthusiasts.

After being developed in the UK, the LIFESAVER Bottle will make its Australian debut at the National 4×4 and Outdoors Expo with this revolutionary product providing four wheel drive enthusiasts the opportunity to filter their own water so it is safe enough to drink, no matter what their location.

Based around a 15 nanometre filter, LIFSAVER Systems’ 4000UF bottle is the world’s first personal water filtration bottle that will remove 99.999% of all water-borne pathogens including bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses.

Mark Petersen from the National 4×4 and Outdoors Expo said the LIFESAVER Bottle is sure to be popular with touring, towing and camping enthusiasts.

“The LIFESAVER Bottle is great for four wheel drive enthusiasts who in the past have had to lug large amounts of drinking water when exploring off the beaten track.  The LIFESAVER Bottle allows them to use water found while out in the bush and filter it on the spot so it is safe to drink,” Petersen said.

For the boatie a revolutionary new Nylon Anchor manufactured by Cooper Anchors will be on display at the event.  The new light weight anchor was developed by Larry Cooper and his two sons after the trio discovered the need for a smaller, lighter, reliable and more affordable anchor.

Since then the family has invested time and money into the development of the world’s first nylon anchor which makes anchoring jet skis, kayaks, small tinnies and inflatable boats easy, safe and affordable.

Jason Plant from the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show said the Nylon Anchor is a great new product for boaties.

“Cooper Anchors have really addressed a huge demand with the Nylon Anchor and I think that we’ll see a lot of people purchasing their products at the show next week,” Plant said.

“It is great to see a Queensland-based company come up a new take on an old product with the Nylon Anchor made from a different material to in the past and furthermore the unique design addressing some of the flaws experienced with traditional models.”

Other new products on display at the event include the Undercover Canvas ‘Outback’ vehicle tent, the innovative Boatcatch coupling, which allows boaties to launch and retrieve their trailer boats without having to set a foot on the boat ramp.

The Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4×4 and Outdoors Expo will be held at the RNA Showgrounds on March 19 – 21, 2010.  Tickets are now available for $12 at www.tinnieandtackle.com.au and www.4x4show.com.au.
