Axopar is set to redefine adventure boating with the launch of the Axopar 29 range, which debuted at boot Düsseldorf 2024. This exciting new generation of boats includes the Axopar 29 Cross Cabin and Sun-Top models, marking a significant evolution from the iconic Axopar 28. By integrating extensive customer feedback with groundbreaking advancements in design and functionality, the Axopar 29 range offers a blend of exceptional performance, comfort, and innovative features that set a new standard in the industry.

Performance-Based Hull Design

True to Axopar’s heritage, the Axopar 29 retains the esteemed 65° deep V hull profile, but with a wider beam that enhances stability and performance. The hull’s advanced design includes pronounced chines and twin steps, enabling the 29 to achieve speeds of up to 48 knots. Despite the increase in size, it maintains excellent fuel efficiency, proving its effectiveness in both speed and economy. Notably, the Axopar 29 is the only 29-footer in its class to hold a category B offshore cruising rating, underscoring its strength and seaworthiness.

Social Bow Layouts

The Axopar 29 excels in providing ample space for socializing and relaxation. The bow area is designed with versatility in mind, featuring an L-shaped sofa and a forward-facing seat as standard, with optional configurations including a U-shaped sofa and forward or rear-facing sunbed. The space comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Peter Hrones, Founder of Eyachts, praised the layout’s spaciousness, noting that it rivals the size of the Axopar 37. He highlighted the innovative table design and storage options, which enhance the usability of the space for social gatherings and sunbathing.

New Multi-Cabin Option

The Axopar 29 introduces a forward head and berth option, transforming the standard bathroom into a multifunctional space. This design provides a private area for overnight stays or storing gear, with electric amenities and ample storage. Hrones was particularly impressed by the spaciousness and comfort of the double berth, which exceeds expectations for a 29-footer.

Versatile Aft Layouts

Customization is a key feature of the Axopar 29, with various aft layout options available, including open aft, bench, wet bar module, or a spacious aft cabin. The aft cabin offers improved access from the pilothouse, larger sleeping areas, and complete opening garage access for convenient storage. The new wet bar option replaces the starboard fender locker, featuring a Magma barbecue mounted on a post, a deep fridge, and a sink—perfect for enhanced onboard dining experiences.

Axopar 29 Sun-Top

The Axopar 29 Sun-Top introduces an electric sliding canvas roof, allowing owners to choose between full sun protection and open-air sunbathing. The cockpit area is designed for both functionality and social interaction, with standard four aft seats and two swiveling helm seats, and an optional U-shaped seating arrangement with a foldable table. The helm layout ensures a pleasurable driving experience with adjustable seats and unobstructed views, making docking and line handling easier than ever.

Axopar 29 Cross Cabin

The Axopar 29 Cross Cabin builds on the success of the previous 28 Cabin, offering an even more spacious and functional pilothouse with 360° visibility from the helm. This design refinement simplifies docking and navigation, with every detail meticulously crafted for an enhanced user experience.

The Axopar 29 Sun-Top will make its first appearance at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May 2024, while the Axopar 29 Cross Cabin will debut at the Sydney Boat Show in August 2024.
