Back Cove Yachts unveils magnificent new 37 Downeast

The new Back Cove Downeast 37 has hit the water in Maine and she is a remarkable vessel.  We have hull number 006 on order for delivery later this year and the time simply cannot pass quickly enough. Thoughtful, practical and most of all, purposeful, this new model answers the needs of sensible boaters looking for massive cockpit space with ultimate flexibility. Interior finishes are in the traditional "Herreshoff" style, with gleaming white panels trimmed with hand rubbed cherry timber trim. Timeless and elegant. 



As with all Back Cove models, she rides on a sea kindly deep V hull propelled with a single shaft drive electronic diesel. Economy and performance combine in perfect balance providing miserly fuel consumption with 25 knot cruise speeds. Her standard bow thruster and optional stern thruster make dockside manoeuvrability a breeze or add the optional easy dock system for effortless and expert berthing regardless of wind and current.
