Estelle Baldry will return to work with Navico Australia on 1 March in the newly-created role of PR and Events Manager.
During her 12 months’ maternity leave, Navico’s Brand Manager role was filled by Laura Kissin, who will continue in this position.
Navico Australia director sales and marketing Damien Weber said the internal restructure unfortunately made redundant Sandman PR’s long-term role with the company.
“Navico has enjoyed a very positive and successful relationship with Sandman PR over the past six years, so it’s a disappointing situation for us all,” Mr Weber said.
“Sandman PR consistently secured excellent media exposure for Navico and its brands throughout the Asia Pacific region, so we’re planning on maintaining this momentum with moving the PR role in-house.
“We look forward to continuing our personal friendships with Ben, Jamie and the crew at Sandman PR and wish them all the very best for the future.”
Navico Australia will continue to retain Sandman PR until the end of February, with the Australian launch of the much-anticipated Lowrance HDS Gen2 to take place in a few weeks.
Once back on deck, Estelle will work closely with Laura in managing the Lowrance, Simrad and B&G brands throughout Australasia, liaising directly with Navico’s US-based global chief marketing officer, Mark McCully.
