Hard top, soft centre

Bavaria’s new, more compact hard top still offers all the creature comforts

The latest 30 HT from Bavaria has just slipped out of the factory and onto the water. This boat offers all the benefits of Bavaria’s larger hard tops in a smaller package ideal for the cruising family.

The innovative layout offers comfort and generous use of space, making the most of the boat’s dimension for entertaining and storage. On deck you’ll find a stainless steel bow fitting with anchor roller, self-draining anchor locker, electrical windlass with anchor and chain. There are stainless steel drink holders at the foredeck, and a teak bathing platform with bathing ladder.

The cockpit is engineered to be enjoyed not just admired, with six berths, full walk-around decks and a solid mahogany interior.

The galley is equipped with a stainless steel sink with cover, pressurised water system, a two-flame cooker, refrigerator (12 V/ DC) and AC/DC outlets.

The self-draining cockpit is accessed through sliding doors and includes stainless steel handle and safety handrails, a sunpad and table.

For crew comfort the head has a lockable door, a shower with cold and warm water and electrical pump and a sea toilet with manual pump disposal via deck suction as well as a holding tank. The boat’s stern shower also has cold and warm water.

Options for this boat include button-on cabin carpet, Webasto Air Top heating, a teak-laid cockpit floor and side deck as well as Raychart Raymarine, C 70 with GPS.

The 30HT is a more affordable family hardtop, built with quality you would expect from Germany’s leading boat builder.
