Bayliner 175 Returns

Bayliner are well known for their range of family bowriders which are backed by a nationwide dealer network making them a sound choice for anyone looking for a runabout with family appeal. As a result, the Bayliner 175 has been reintroduced into Australia for 2012 to satisfy customer demand for an entry level, easy to handle and price conscious boat. The 175 is the smallest stern drive boat in their extensive range and comes in at 5.33m, or 17 foot, 6 inches. The beam on these boats go a long way to creating the open feeling in all Bayliner boats and the 175 doesn’t disappoint with a 2.11m beam and a well designed cockpit.

The fiberglass hull construction features a 19 degree deadrise making it ideal for harbour and semi-protected waterways all over Australia while also being capable should more demanding conditions arise.

Seating has been designed to maximise internal space and either side of the newly redesigned engine box are two aft jump seats. Move forward and the driver has a bucket seat while back to back seats which fold flat are located on the passenger side. Seating in the bow is spacious and safe featuring full length cushioned seats with a small backrest against the windscreen. Multiple storage compartments in the floor, under seats, in the sides of the hull and a ski locker running down the middle of the floor keep items out of the way of guests.

Power is delivered by a 135hp MPI Mercruiser delivering 64 km/h at wide open throttle. Cruise speed is achieved at about 40km/h giving a tank range of 135km from a 79.5l tank.
