Excitement is building as Riviera prepares for a history-making gala dinner to celebrate the launch of its 5000th boat on November 2.

The menu has been chosen, the wines selected, and the entertainers auditioned as Riviera’s state-of-the-art Coomera facility on Queensland’s Gold Coast is undergoing a transformation into a five-start entertainment precinct.

Australia’s largest and most awarded luxury boat builder will host a celebration like no other.  Under the warm November stars, a 100 metre long dining table will be set for a three course dinner that will conclude with the unveiling of the 5000th Riviera, and then the celebrations will kick on with a full night club set within the factory.

Riviera’s director of brand and communications Stephen Milne is extending an invitation to all boating enthusiasts who would like to become part of Riviera’s maritime history to join in the fun.

“Launching our 5000th boat is a major accomplishment for Riviera and I can assure Riviera enthusiasts that we will stage a very different style of event to mark this special occasion,” Mr Milne said.

“At Riviera we are immensely proud of our rich 32-year history, our humble beginnings, and our growth into Australia’s favourite boating brand.  To have launched 5000 boats in the size range of 27 to 75 feet in 32 years is a true testament to good old Aussie ingenuity, the Riviera brand, our blue water heritage, our innovative designs, our quality craftsman and our extremely loyal owners.
