BIA Melbourne Boat Show bonus for survey winner

The BIA Melbourne Boat Show delivered an unexpected bonus today to one of the participants in the Patron Survey taken during the show.

Michael Stevenson was presented with a brand new 32 GB Retina Display iPad by BIA Board Director Darren Finkelstein at St Kilda Marina this morning.

Drawn from over 500 people who took part in the survey, Michael believes this year’s show was the best he has seen. 

As a keen boater, yachtsman and fisherman, he is looking forward to next year’s show, for which he will be able to use his new iPad to book his tickets online.

BIA general manager Steven Gill thanked all those who took time to participate in the survey.

“Although the survey was quick and simple, it will provide the BIA with valuable data and suggestions for how to improve on the 2014 Melbourne Boat Show,” he said.

The 2014 Melbourne Boat Show will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre at the same time next year – 13-16 June, the weekend after the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
