Australia’s largest luxury boat builder, Riviera, and its Melbourne dealer R Marine Jacksons VIC have planned a massive on-water display for this month’s 2009 Melbourne International Boat Show.

With a total of 11 boats ranging 36’ to 58’ in length and valued at more than $13 million, the Riviera display is destined to draw enthusiastic boaters from around Victoria and interstate.

R Marine Jacksons VIC dealer principal Stuart Jackson said the 2009 display was the largest and most exciting the company had mounted in many years.

“There’s something for every taste on display this year,” Mr Jackson said.

“From the family-oriented, two-cabin Riviera 38 Open Flybridge right up to the magnificent Princess models, this is a must-see show.”

Riviera’s exciting new 43 Offshore Express with Volvo Penta IPS propulsion will be a centrepiece of the display, along with a comprehensive range of the company’s flybridge models and the full range of award-winning sport yachts.

Riviera flybridge models will include the 38, 41, 45, 47 and 51. The company’s first sport yacht, the 3600SY released in 2005, the three-cabin 4700SY and the marine industry’s Boat of the Year 4400 Sport Yacht (with Volvo Penta IPS drive units and joystick control) will also be on display.

The elegant Euro-style Princess P58 flybridge and V58 sports yacht will also form part of this impressive exhibit.

Focusing on the broader lifestyle aspects of boating, the Melbourne International Boat & Lifestyle Show will be held at Docklands, 30 January to 1 February 2009.
