Chaparral Australia has un-wrapped its latest Xtreme wake machine just in time for this week’s Melbourne Boat Show.

The Xtreme tow boat range from Chaparral are the world’s only dedicated saltwater wake boats packed with features designed to keep you out on the water all day.

Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia says that “the Xtreme wake boats have beaten their shaft drive competitors at their own game in numerous tests and comparisons around the world, offering a platform that can handle rough conditions in the salt, but still perform in tight rivers & on fresh water, they really are a brilliant all round tow boat”, he says.

The built in toilet, fresh water bow and stern showers, wet bar and multiple iceboxes provide the creature comforts;  while the built in ballast tank, trim tabs, and unique hull design guarantees a wide solid wake that can be adjusted at the flick of a switch.

Not to be outdone Chaparral includes a crazy sound system with tower speakers, sub-woofer and big amp with multiple remotes and ipod connectivity.  Other great features such as a walkthrough transom, back to back transom seating that folds down into a sun pad , massive swim platform and bow ladder keep the whole crew happy.

“Former Australian wakeboarding champion Kristin Bower tested a 244 Xtreme and was full of praise, describing the wake as clean, easy to ride, steep and solid, O’Hare says; “it didn’t take much to convince Kristin, a stern drive sceptic, that the Xtreme was a winner, noting that the boat, and in particular the wake, was right at home with the best tow boats in the world.”

Chaparral has a solid reputation for quality, innovation and performance worldwide; they have 32 boats in the range from 18 to 42 feet. The Xtreme towboats range from 20 -26 feet.
