Chaparral boats have had a stunning re-launch at the Mandurah Boat show with a number of sales at the show and huge customer interest over the following week.

“We couldn’t be happier with the level of interest in our new models”, says Chaparral Australia’s Scott O’Hare; “ Not only did we sell boats over the weekend but the phone has run consistently all week with enquiry on new boats across the range.  With our entry level H2o Ski/Fish and sport models,  award winning Premium SSi bowrider’s and Sunesta’s deck boats on display; we had a reasonable cross-section allowing us to show buyers the attention to detail that Chaparral is famous for”.  The fact that Chaparrals are built for saltwater use struck a chord with people he said. “Unlike most other states, W.A boating is mainly salt water based, this is exactly what we build our boats for.  What surprised us though, was the enquiry on models that weren’t at the show, it seems that Western Australians have been keeping an eye on us and have been waiting for a local dealer to take on the brand and provide the critical after sales service and warranty support that new boat buyers expect” says O’Hare.

Chaparral recently appointed the team from Martin Box Marine to represent the range of cruisers, cuddy’s, bow riders, deck boats and salt water wake boats in W.A.  Based at the Fremantle Sailing Club, Martin Box Marine has been a major industry player for over 40 years and offer valuable experience and advice to buyers looking to get into boating for the first time or longer term boaters looking at alternatives to their current vessel.

“We have high hopes for Chaparral in W.A says O’Hare and with the results so far from Mandurah and with Chris Box from Martin Box Marine at the helm; I am confident that we will be seeing more and more of our boats on the water all along the W.A coast.
