Cummins bolsters marine sales team in WA

Cummins has strengthened its marine sales team in Western Australia with two new appointments.

Peter Brookes and Troy Drysdale are the new sales executives, both having technical backgrounds.

Brookes joined Cummins in 1995 as a diesel technician and worked in the truck and engine bays as well as in field service. In 1999 he was appointed application engineer for Western Australia and Northern Territory.

In this role he supported the installation process and commissioning of numerous types of vessels which included work with Strategic Marine in Singapore and Vietnam.

Drysdale began his apprenticeship as a diesel technician with Alcoa in 1990 and swung spanners for around 12 years before moving into sales.

He joined Cummins five years ago as a sales executive, specialising in the industrial and automotive fields.
