Prominent Brisbane marine dealer, Wynnum Marine has kicked its marketing up a gear with an advertising billboard placed at one of the busiest intersections near Wynnum.

As drivers stream along Old Cleveland Road in Capalaba West, they are confronted by the striking billboard.   And for those unfortunate enough to be stopped at the intersection with New Cleveland Road, what better way to kill time waiting for a green light, then to be dreaming of owning a new boat from Wynnum Marine.

“We have a strong customer base in this part of metropolitan Brisbane,” said Darren Nichols, dealership principal at Wynnum Marine.

“When the opportunity arose to advertise on this particular billboard, we jumped at it.    Not only can we fire the imagination of people as they sit at the traffic lights, but we’re also close enough for drivers who decide to follow the arrow and head on over to see our great range of boats.”

The billboard itself depicts two CruiseCraft boats powering through the water.   It’s the kind of action that is designed to capture attention and motivate would be boaters into action.

“The feedback has been pretty good,” said Darren Nichols.   “Lots of people have commented on the billboard.    Because you don’t normally see boats associated with this kind of advertising, I guess it stands out more.”

Wynnum Marine is the Brisbane home of CruiseCraft boats.  The dealership is the authorised dealer for CruiseCraft, Stacer and Gemini inflatables, plus Yamaha and Evinrude outboard engines
