Duffy Down Under Debuts Duffy Electric Boats at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

Duffy Down Under Pty Ltd is introducing Duffy Electric Boats to Australia at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 19-22 May, 2011 in Berth F14 at the main marina (http://www.sanctuarycoveboatshow.com.au/). This is the first time these electric boats have been displayed at the boat show, which is one of the primary boating events in Asia Pacific.
 
Duffy Electric Boats are dominant in harbors, lakes and protected areas in California and around the globe. Clean and quiet, they hold up to 11 adults, making them ideal for family outings, romantic cruises, entertaining or simply exploring Gold Coast waterways. “Duffy Electric Boats aren’t just boats,” explained Nitsa Kerr, Duffy Down Under’s general manager, “they are a lifestyle. It’s like having your own limo on the water.”
 
Duffy Electric Boats come complete with full canopy top, full window enclosures and a CD player with an iPod hookup. With double battery packs the boats can cruise at 6 mph for seven hours, with a 45-mile range between charges. The batteries recharge overnight for less than a few dollars AUD.

They work harmoniously in the Gold Coast Marine Park with its varied fish life, dolphins, turtles and whales. As an added bonus, electric boats are allowed in Gold Coast areas where petrol-powered boats are forbidden.”
