The team from luxury motoryacht builder Elandra Yachts is heading across the Tasman Sea to attend the Auckland On Water Boat Show at the end of September.
According to Elandra Managing Director Luke Durman “We have already received strong interest from New Zealand boat owners and this is perfect timing for us to talk with them about our plans and progress.”
Durman will attend the show with Kiwi colleagues Grant Senior, General Manger at Elandra, and Bill Cranston who heads the Elandra shop floor team.
“We will meet with key prospects and suppliers through the show as well as take the opportunity to gauge the mood of the market,” said Durman.
“Both Grant and Bill have a wide range of well respected contacts in New Zealand. This will be a strong follow-up to our successful display at the recent Sydney International Boat Show.”
Durman said the external plug for the company’s first model, a 53-foot Elandra 5 sports yacht, was now complete and work was beginning on moulds.
“This is perfect timing for us to be talking with more people as the boat comes together,” he said. “We have had some great feedback and comment and I am certain the New Zealand market will provide quality leads as well as valuable partnership contacts.”
