Following its successful launch in the UK and Europe in September 2010, luxury motor yacht manufacturer Fairline Boats will debut its Squadron 42 to Australia at the Mandurah Boat Show taking place from 14-16 October 2011.
Two sales of this remarkable new model have already been completed by Fairline Western Australia, both to local buyers.
The Squadron 42 boasts many of the design and technology advances pioneered in her larger sister ships with a unique flybridge and light and spaciousness interiors, all within a remarkably compact hull length.
One of her most celebrated features is the option of a concealed, cantilevered Tender Launch System built into the swim platform. The system provides an effortless way of launching and retrieving a tender, providing a level of convenience in stern layout and facilities unprecedented on a boat of this size.
Bryan Jones, President of Fairline Boats Asia, said: ”We are thrilled to complete our first two sales of the Squadron 42 to the Australian market. This model is absolutely the best choice on the market for a boat of its size. Although smaller, its elegant, sweeping lines and huge panoramic windows not only make it look fabulous, but also make it feel spacious inside. That same sense of space and ‘big boat’ luxury is further enhanced by the extra-large flybridge, the walk-around side decks – and the unusual openness’ of the cockpit with its twin transom gates.”
Besides the Squadron 42, Fairline will display two other models at the boat show – a Squadron 65 and a new Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO with spacious forward master suite and revolutionary Fairline Tender Launch System.
The Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO arrives after her ‘Motor Boat of the Year’ win in the ‘Sportscruiser Above 45ft’ category and as a stock model is available for immediate sale and delivery.
“We are very encouraged by the recent sales performance in this market,” said Glen Moltoni of Fairline Western Australia.
“As the domestic economy continues to show positive signs of revival; so too do sales. The Squadron 65 has been a hit in Australia with four sold this year alongside a Squadron 78 and two new Squadron 42s. We expect interest in the Targa 58GT stock boat to be extremely high based on her seafaring performance and string of accolades recently received,” he concluded.
Australia continues to be a significant market for Fairline with a strong order book and ongoing delivery of new models. A stock model Squadron 50, the company’s newest boat will arrive in Western Australia by mid 2012.
With over 40 years of boat building experience, Fairline Boats has become one of the most revered boat manufacturers in the world. The company designs and builds luxury motor yachts under two distinct brands: Squadron flybridge motor yachts and Targa express cruisers.
