For the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre it will be a case of Thanks for the Memories

When the 2013 Sydney International Boat Show closes down at Darling Harbour after its five-day extravaganza from August 1 to 5, it will be a case of thanks for the memories that have been gathered over the past 25-years.



In that time, the Sydney International Boat Show has cemented itself as the nation’s leading recreational boating exhibition and gained a worldwide reputation as one of the finest shows of its type.



Now, for the next three years, the Darling Harbour venue which has proven a superb location for a major boating exhibition will be undergoing a massive redevelopment.



During that time the show will be moving into a fabulous purpose-built interim facility on Glebe Island, just a few kilometres away, near the Anzac Bridge.



However, the spectacular floating marina on Cockle Bay, always a highlight of the show, remains exactly where it has been for the past 25-years.

Regular ferry and shuttle bus services will link the marina with the Glebe Island facility.



The 2013 Sydney International Boat Show, owned and organised by the Boating Industry Association of NSW, will operate from 10am to 8pm daily within the halls and 10am to 6pm on the marina.
