Garmin equipment fitted to the brand new Maritimo M45

Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation, today announced that it was the electronics & navigation brand of choice for the proud new owner of Maritimo’s brand new M45 to be released later this week at the Sydney International Boat Show. The new M45 has been a highly anticipated release and visitors to the Sydney Boat Show will be able to not only view this fabulous new motor yacht but also be see Garmin’s top shelf 12” touch screen displays at the helm.

The package fitted to the M45 consists of twin GPSMap 7012’s (12” screens suited the available helm space) featuring our superfast G Motion technology. The M45 has been fitted with Volvo IPS which is a perfect match for Garmin’s dedicated Volvo Autopilot system (GHP10V) which allows for effortless control at speed with the IPS system whilst it is also possible to relay engine data to the Garmin screens via a simple interface cable. To make life even easier, the twin GPSMap 7012’s are running Garmin’s g2 Vision charting with “Auto Guidance” function for simple and seamless navigation in all conditions.

For extra safety the vessel has also been fitted with a Garmin GMR24HD Radome and a sleek VHF 300i with AIS receiver. The options however didn’t stop there with Garmin’s Digital sonar box (GSD 24) paired with an Airmar transducer.
