A successful Ski Racing weekend was had in Grafton on the weekend for Garmin Marine with Streamline Boat Covers taking out the MOC Class in the Annual Bridge to Bridge Ski Race Classic. Craig Norris (owner/driver) of Streamline Boat Covers said “the boat went well all weekend and the skiers did a great job”. Streamline Boat Covers runs a Garmin GPSMap 750 with Garmin’s exclusive “Topo Mapping” which gives incredible detail of the whole of the Clarence River and was well received by Craig.

Another MOC competitor “Breaking Bad” an 1850 Bullet driven by Corey Smith also had a successful weekend with only the second appearance in a Ski Race Classic event. Breaking Bad also runs a Garmin GPS with the exclusive Topo Mapping. “There’s a lot going on when you’re behind the wheel of a Ski Race boat and to have some knowledge in front of you about the river gives me some extra piece of mind” said Corey.

Top Gun (a Ski Racing Icon – owned by Russell Lewis), is a Superclass competitor and also uses a Garmin GPSMap 750 with Topo Mapping and has done in numerous races this year. The detail of the map for the Mildura 100, Hawkesbury 120 and now Grafton is impressive and getting the Top Gun Crew keen for the Southern 80 next year, known as the best ski race in the world consists over 120 bends in 80klm’s.
