Global restructure drives Mercury

In order to effectively position Mercury Marine to achieve our future growth initiatives, a restructure of the Mercury Senior leadership team has taken place.  This restructure will help Mercury better meet customer expectations of quality, cost and delivery. It also allows the company to better address longer term strategic operating challenges.

The company announced that John Pfeifer has been named as Vice President Global Operations Mercury Marine. Before the restructure, Mr Pfeifer was President of Brunswick Marine, responsible for operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific regions.

With this change, the company is creating one global operations group by combining product planning together with manufacturing and distribution that will enable a more streamline, effective and accountable operations group.

With this change Mike Shedivy will be succeeding John Pfeifer and has been named President of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Mercury Marine. John Temple, General Manager of Mercury’s Australia, New Zealand and Pacific region will now report directly to Kevin Grodzki, President Global Sales and Marketing.
