Hanse 415 – The New Best Seller?

New for 2012, the Hanse 415 has a lot to live up to… after all her predecessor the 400 is Australia’s best selling 40 foot yacht… ever.

We want you to be very clear about one thing.

The 415 is not an upgraded version of the 400.

She’s a completely new design reflecting modern demands for state-of-the-art, fast cruising yachts.

Sailing the 415

As with all Hanse yachts the 415 sails beautifully.

Hanse have extended the waterline by 60cm and kept the same sail area bringing her increased hull speed.

The hull is a modern Judel/Vrolijk design with some increased width especially at the rear. For you this means a better use of space down below and on deck.

You’ll love the spacious, safe and comfortable cockpit with a wide walk-through to the large, easy-fold bathing platform.

The Hanse 415 is incredibly easy to handle.

All lines lead aft to winches in easy reach of the twin helm positions and of course the legendary Hanse self-tacking headsail is standard.

Thanks to the clever new hull design you’ll find the 415 has around 10% more space down below compared to the 400.

If you’re tall you’ll appreciate the increased headroom.

Light floods through the large opening coach roof hatches and opening port holes… and a gorgeous cross-breeze flows through your cabins and saloon at anchor or in the marina.

There is a huge choice of layouts

For example you can choose from two different versions of the galley… the classic L- shaped standard size or the extended size with heaps of work space, storage and optional luxuries including a second fridge.

If you’re planning to cross oceans you might choose the utility room which doubles as a great work area. And you can opt for one or two heads and one or two aft cabins.
