Hanse Owners Ready To Rally On Pittwater

Here’s a date for your diary…

The 5th Pittwater Hanse Owners Rally organised by Team Windcraft takes place on 26th March 2011 starting from the Royal Motor Yacht Club.

Early signs are that this is going to be the biggest rally yet… we’re expecting around 50 boats… including the Moodys who are, of course, part of the Windcraft family.

We’re also looking forward to welcoming some of our Hanse owners from Melbourne… they had such a ball in Audi Victoria race week they can’t wait to do it all again!

The Pittwater Rally is always huge fun with the racing keenly contested. Hanse yachts are designed to be quick and yet easy to sail.
Last year’s winner was John Ball sailing 2 up on ‘Ballistic’. We’re wondering if he’ll be able to repeat his success this year.
And for the non-sailors on board your yacht… the stunning backdrop of Pittwater and a relaxing lunch stop in a sheltered bay will ensure they have a fantastic day on the water.

A major event at the Rally is the announcement of a new initiative for 2011.
Team Windcraft is running a very special promotion this year to raise funds for a charity called Bear Cottage. Bear Cottage in Manly is NSW’s only children’s hospice.

The centre offers respite and palliative care to children with life limiting illnesses and respite for their families.

At the prize giving dinner of the Hanse Pittwater Rally Team Windcraft will announce the first major fund-raising initiative…
