For the first time at an Australian Boat show Jeanneau will be displaying the 2010 models of the Sun Odyssey 50 Deck Saloon and the Sun Odyssey 49i.

Two of the biggest names in naval architecture have teamed up to create the Sun Odyssey 50 Deck Saloon. Philippe Briand designed her high performance hull while the Garroni Designers lent her an elegant style.

Fluid lines, design and construction certified by the Bureau Veritas, a streamlined keel and appendices for excellent performance at sea, and the comfortable modern interior of a new generation of Sun Odysseys.

The Sun Odyssey 49i is truly a seafaring yacht. Easy to sail short handed and offering extraordinary comfort, the SO49i features a spacious saloon, modern styling, abundant natural light and fresh air, and a cockpit set up that will satisfy the most discerning sailor.

The first 2010 Sun Odyssey 49i sold in Australia, Wee Wah, recently competed in the Brisbane to Gladstone race. Top international yachtsman Phil Gray was on board and was very complimentary about her performance saying “For those people that want to coastal race in absolute comfort they must consider a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49i.
