 “This year’s Sydney International Boat Show will be our biggest display ever with a large range of boats on display at stand 203 in Hall 2 from MasterCraft tow boats, Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Zodiac inflatables and Smart Wave plastic boats while on the Marina we will display 8 boats from Sea Ray and Boston Whaler” said Damien Hurt. Lifestyle Marine will have a number of new models that have never been displayed at SIBS.

Sea Ray

For the first time ever at Sydney International we will have a Sea Ray 250 SLX featuring the new Quiet Ride technology. This exclusive Sea Ray technology reduces noise by between 25 and 50%. Quiet ride is not a bolt on option or an afterthought it is a fundamental change in the build process that only Sea Ray can deliver. “It is not every day you get a game changer but this really is something special 25% to 50% reduction in noise as well as huge reductions in vibration means this boat has to experienced to be believed” says Damien Hurt. The Quiet Ride technology recently won a 2012 Innovation Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association in America.

Quiet Ride targets four distinct areas of NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) reduction:

1.         A patented Tuned Transom® from Omni Products Inc. reduces noise and vibration created by the engine and leg.

2.         A special inner laminate material in the hull, deck and liner reduces noise and vibration from water hitting the boat.

3.         The precise engineering and fit and finish of components reduce noise and vibration throughout the boat.

4.         Full-beam bulkheads and acoustical insulation trap and absorb noise and vibration before they can enter the cockpit.

Outside on the Marina we will have a range of the brilliant Sundancer range from 28 to 50 feet. The 500 Sundancer will be displayed with revolutionary Zeus drive system.

MasterCraft

Lifestyle will also display a range of MasterCraft towboats for the first time and as a show exclusive the MasterCraft X35 will be displayed at Sydney for the first time ever. This BIG wakeboard boat has room for everyone with seating for 16 as well as a cockpit fridge and sink.

Boston Whaler

The biggest ever range of the Unsinkable Legend Boston Whaler will also be on display with 4 boats from the 13 foot Sport to the 220 Outrage on stand 203 in the Hall and the big end of town on the Marina. Including for the first time at any Boat Show in Australia the all new fully enclosed 285 Conquest. This new release has been a worldwide success since its recent launch. It has a fully enclosed hard top, new cabin layout, huge cockpit to fight those big fish and a refined hull that takes the legendary Whaler ride to a new level. Also on display will be Boston Whalers two biggest boats the 345 Conquest and 370 Outrage both with TRIPPLE Mercury Verado’s.

Zodiac

A huge range of Zodiac inflatables will be on display. Tenders from 2 metres as well as a great range of RIB’s from the 340 Yachtline Deluxe up to the awesome new 650 Pro Open powered with Mercury 175hp Verado. Also on display for the first time ever in Australia is the all new 380 Avon Sea Sport Jet with its adrenalin pumping 98hp Turbo Charged Webber engine.

Smart Wave

Smart Wave plastic boats will also be on the stand with the Skippa tender, 3500 Dinghy and the 4800 Centre Console displayed. These boats are virtually unsinkable and have amazing rough water ride and are extremely stable at rest. The boats come standard with bow and side rails, rod holders, drink holders, under seat storage, all things that appear on most other manufacturer’s options list.
