Quarter share ShareYacht Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 based on Gibson Marina, Bayview Pittwater. The World’s most succesful keel-boat has proven a popular yacht to share in Sydney with some ten owned in shares out of the 25 that are here.
The 349 is one of those special designs that comes along once in a generation that combines numerous elements that make it a standout. Astonishing balance and stability make it an incredibly forgiving and easy yacht to sail, especially single or short-handed. The twin-wheel cockpit is comfortable with great ergonomics, and combined with the generous fold-down swim platform is simply a nice space to spend time in.
Down below there is a great sense of space and light. The saloon has seating both sides of the fold-down saloon table, the galley is a conventional L-Shape, the nav’ table aft-facing and every space has been used for available storage. The v-berth is full length, the owners very generous for a yacht of this size with excellent light and ventilation, and the head is remarkable with a separate dedicated shower stall, and aft of that a huge dry storage locker which is also accessible from the cockpit.
This particular 349 is very well optioned with a complete instrument package that includes a Raymarine plotter, AIS Transceiver and linear drive autopilot. It has the full custom canvas package including spray-dodger, bimini with link sheet, and full cockpit surrounds. The battery bank is supported by a bimini mounted solar panel, along with shore-power and battery charger.

The yachts boom-bag and genoa are new, mainsail near new, and some of the running rigging is new. It was antifouled and engine serviced in June 2021.
