1977 C&L Explorer 45 'MERAKI 1' for sale with DBY Boat Sales.
This beautiful Huntingford designed cutter has been patiently refitted by the craftsman owner. The family of four has cruised from British Columbia to Mexico and across the South Pacific, all documented on their popular YouTube channel "Cruising Meraki."
'Meraki 1' has a fantastic spacious layout for a family with two staterooms, total bunks for 8. A comfortable saloon showcasing a large saloon table to port and long settee to starboard. Clever customising in 2021 allows the custom saloon table to drop and create another queen sized bed. There is storage everywhere. The interior boasts extensive solid teak that would not be feasable to recreate today. Stunning solid bronze fittings throughout. She's beautiful.
Fully ready for continued offshore cruising with lots of solar, watermaker and tender. 'Meraki 1' benefitting from her refit in 2021/2022, is a robust vessel that can go anywhere.
